The Winchester XPR is a feature-rich bolt-action rifle that delivers the dependable quality Winchester Repeating Arms is known for. At its core lies Winchester’s M.O.A. Trigger System, with trigger housing and internal components machined from polished and hardened carbon steel, finished in blued steel for durability and corrosion resistance.
The rifle includes a two-position safety positioned just forward of the safety button, and a cocking indicator on the bolt shroud that provides both tactile and visual confirmation of cocked and uncocked status. The bolt features three front locking lugs and a short 60-degree lift to improve scope clearance. A nickel Teflon coating on the bolt ensures smooth cycling and added corrosion protection. The one-piece trigger guard and magazine frame are generously proportioned for comfortable handling.
A chromoly steel barrel, precisely button-rifled for consistent accuracy across a range of bullet weights and types, is free-floating to eliminate pressure points that degrade precision. The chromoly steel receiver is drilled and tapped for mounting optics. The synthetic stock incorporates Inflex Technology recoil pad technology and pairs with a detachable single stack box magazine. The 7mm Remington Magnum chambering and 26 inch barrel make this rifle well-suited for long-range hunting applications.
