Winchester engineered the Xpert with a focus on accuracy and user-friendly operation. The standout feature is the new Rimfire M.O.A. Trigger, a three-lever design borrowed from Winchester’s Model 70 and XPR rifles that delivers zero creep, zero take-up, and zero over-travel for a glass-breaking light pull. The rifle is fitted with a precision button-rifled barrel topped with a recessed, target-style crown and semi-match Bentz chamber. A hemispherical firing pin enhances reliability when shooting rimfire ammunition. The package includes an adjustable rear sight and blade front sight, and the steel receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mount installation. The extended bolt handle provides increased leverage for smoother operation, while the safety sits at the rear of the receiver for convenient access. Dual, ambidextrous magazine releases positioned on the sides and bottom of the rifle allow flexibility in operation and are designed to drop the magazine directly into your hand. The Xpert feeds from the same polymer 10-round rotary magazine used in the Wildcat and is also compatible with magazines designed for 10/22 rifles.
