The Winchester XPR is a feature-rich bolt-action rifle built to deliver the dependable performance Winchester Repeating Arms is known for. At the core of every XPR rifle lies Winchester’s M.O.A. Trigger System, with trigger housing and internal components machined from polished and hardened carbon steel and finished in blue for durability and corrosion resistance. A two-position safety is positioned just forward of the safety button, while a cocking indicator on the bolt shroud provides both tactile and visual confirmation of whether the rifle is cocked or uncocked. The bolt design incorporates three front locking lugs and a short 60-degree lift to improve scope clearance, and features a nickel Teflon coating that ensures smooth operation and additional corrosion resistance.
The rifle is built around a one-piece trigger guard and magazine frame, with a chromoly steel barrel that is precisely button-rifled to deliver accuracy across a wide range of bullet weights and types. The barrel floats freely along its length to eliminate pressure points that can affect accuracy. The chromoly steel receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounting. The synthetic stock incorporates Inflex Technology recoil pad and a detachable single stack box magazine, making the Winchester XPR 6.8 Western a capable platform for hunting and precision shooting.
