The Browning X-Bolt 2 300 Winchester Magnum Hunter Composite rifle delivers performance across woods, mountains, and range shooting. Built on a receiver design with additional bolt guidance surface, the X-Bolt 2 action cycles smoothly and quickly. The bolt features weight-saving spiral fluting and a new handle knob design. A sporter contour barrel balances accuracy with reduced weight, while the M13x0.75 threaded muzzle accommodates the included radial muzzle brake and thread protector cap—or accepts an optional Browning Recoil Hawg Sporter muzzle brake for enhanced recoil reduction. The action is bedded and barrel is free floated to maintain consistent accuracy. The DLX Trigger uses a three-lever design with zero creep, zero take-up, and zero overtravel, factory preset at 3.5 pounds and adjustable down to 3.0 pounds. The Vari-Tech stock allows adjustment of comb height to align your sight picture with mounted optics. Length of pull is adjusted internally using spacers for a solid, rattle-free fit. Grip angle can be customized by switching between sporter and vertical grip modules. Rubber overmolding on all gripping surfaces improves control in varied conditions. The 1-1/4″ thick Inflex recoil pad increases shooting comfort when firing magnum cartridges.
