Patriot Ordnance Factory’s Minuteman 5.56 NATO semi-auto rifle represents POF’s interpretation of the direct impingement fighting carbine, engineered with controls and enhancements designed to keep the platform mobile and light. The rifle features POF’s E2 dual-extraction technology, which utilizes four small channels cut into the chamber walls to allow a small amount of gas pressure to push against the neck of the spent case. A mil-spec aluminum anti-tilt buffer tube with carrier cradle extensions ensures the carrier receives continuous support from the buffer tube even when the bolt carrier is fully forward.
