Patriot Ordnance Factory’s Minuteman 5.56 NATO semi-auto rifle represents the company’s vision of a direct impingement fighting carbine built around controls and enhancements designed for mobility and lightweight operation. The rifle incorporates POF’s E2 dual-extraction technology, which uses four small channels cut into the chamber walls to allow gas pressure to act against the spent case neck. A mil-spec aluminum anti-tilt buffer tube is equipped with carrier cradle extensions that maintain support of the carrier even when the bolt carrier moves fully forward.
