The Bergara Premier Canyon in 6.5 Creedmoor with a 20 inch barrel combines traditional hunting rifle ergonomics with modern lightweight construction. Built around a 100% carbon fiber AG Composites stock, this rifle eliminates unnecessary weight while maintaining classic handling characteristics.
The No. 4 fluted barrel is threaded 5/8-24 and topped with an Omni brake designed to reduce felt recoil when firing the heavy-hitting 6.5 Creedmoor. The action features a one-piece stainless steel bolt body with a rear pad that accepts the threaded-in bolt handle. The bolt head, non-rotating gas shield, and bolt shroud are all fully Nitrided for durability and self-lubricating properties.
The rifle is equipped with a TriggerTech Frictionless Release Technology trigger paired with a two-position safety integrated into the trigger assembly. A unique benefit of this setup is that the bolt handle does not lock in the closed position, permitting the rifle to be unloaded while remaining in the safe position. The M5 floor plate offers flexibility to use either a detachable magazine or hinged floor plate according to your preference.
