The Sig Sauer Romeo2 (Model SOR21000, UPC 798681662470) is a professional-grade red dot reflex sight engineered for rapid target acquisition in adverse conditions. This optic offers 1x magnification with a 30 mm objective and features a dual reticle design combining a 2 MOA red dot with a 32 MOA circle. The sight features a high-efficiency, point source LED emitter and molded aspheric glass lens, utilizing a high-performance red notch reflector coating for excellent brightness and light transmittance with zero distortion.
Built from 7075 aluminum housing with ruggedized steel shrouds, the Romeo2 maintains 25,000 hours of battery life and is compatible with all SIG pistols that have the newer PRO-CUT slide. The half shroud provides good protection against drops and minor impacts while the full shroud completely seals in the optic with a polycarbonate rear window for superior protection against dirt, water, dust, and other debris. Each Romeo2 includes a manual, LensPen, metal shroud, polycarbonate rear lens, and an optic-specific torque wrench.
The Romeo2 features Sig’s exclusive MOTAC (Motion Activated Illumination System) and MAGNETAC (Magnetic Activation) systems—MOTAC powers up the optic when motion is detected, while MAGNETAC powers up when the host weapon is drawn from a compatible holster and shuts the optic off when holstered. The optic includes Dark Adaptive Reticles and Coatings (D.A.R.C.) technology which provides ideal reticle brightness and target clarity while using a Gen3+ night vision device. The Romeo2 shares the Romeo1Pro footprint and can be direct-mounted to any SIG Sauer pistol with a Pro-Slide Cut.
