The Magpul DT Carbine Stock in Flat Dark Earth is a drop-in replacement buttstock designed for AR15/M16/M4 carbines and comparable platforms equipped with Mil-Spec profile receiver extensions. It combines the strengths of the SL and CTR product lines through dual tensioning technology that delivers greater strength and security while maintaining easy adjustability. Built in an A-frame style, the DT Stock features an auto-engaging friction lock that operates reflexively during adjustment without binding. This mechanism creates additional tension on the buffer tube, resulting in extra tight lockup that minimizes play between the stock’s lock pin and receiver extension. The outcome is enhanced durability when subjected to severe impacts, paired with quick, smooth, and frictionless length-of-pull adjustments in the field. The non-slip butt-pad matches the SL line footprint while incorporating the optimized curvature from the CTR design. Additional features include an ambidextrous adjustment lever, a rotation-limiting QD sling mount, and a 1.25 footmans loop.
