The Magpul CTR (Compact/Type Restricted) Mil-Spec Model is a made in the USA drop-in replacement buttstock designed for AR15/M16 carbines with mil-spec sized receiver extension tubes. Its streamlined A-frame profile resists snagging during operation and shields the release latch against unintended actuation. A supplemental friction lock system reduces unwanted stock movement to improve weapon stability*, while an ambidextrous QD sling mount accommodates any push-button sling swivel. The included rubber butt-pad measures 0.30″ thick and delivers secure shoulder contact that resists slippage when worn with body armor or modular gear. Finished in Stealth Gray synthetic construction, the CTR is engineered for rapid, lightweight handling on AR carbine platforms.
