The Barrett MRAD Barrel Conversion Kit “D” .300 Norma Magnum features a 26″ fluted barrel, Barrett Brake, bolt head, magazine, and ZCORR™ anti corrosion bag within Barrett branded bag. The MRAD can quickly and easily be converted to one of 7 different calibers or multiple barrel lengths by simply loosening two bolts using a standard Torx wrench; no gunsmith required.
A factory headspaced bolt face is provided with each barrel, and barrel/caliber change can occur in less than two minutes. Earlier model MRADs may require the large breech to small breech conversion kit. This modular system allows shooters and professional users to maintain platform versatility without requiring specialized gunsmithing services.
The MRAD bolt rides in a unique enclosed polymer guide, providing smooth reliable operation even in harsh environments where traditional designs with insufficient clearance can bind.
