The CZ-USA 457 American is a classic American-style rimfire rifle chambered in .22 LR. It features a 24.8″ barrel and comes without iron sights, designed to accept a scope. The rifle is fitted with a Turkish walnut stock that incorporates a high, flat comb and traditional checkering pattern.
Like all CZ-USA 457 models, this rifle includes an 11mm dovetail milled into the top of the receiver for mounting scope rings and mounts. A receiver-mounted, push-to-fire safety provides reliable operation. The action has been shortened by nearly an inch and slab-sided to minimize overall footprint and weight while maintaining the performance characteristics shooters expect from this platform.
