Evolution Gun Works manufactures this Picatinny scope base for the Savage Axis/Axis II (formerly the Savage Edge) rifle with a 20 MOA inclination. The base is machined from 6061-T6 extruded aluminum and finished in matte black.
The center spread—measured center to center between the two middle holes on your receiver—is 4.321″, with an overall length of 7.458″. Dimensions are 0.85 X 3.60 X 8.25, with a height of 0.8500″, width of 3.6000″, and length of 8.2500″.
Installation includes hex head screws and a wrench. Evolution Gun Works recommends applying 20 inch lbs. of torque and a drip of blue Loctite during setup. The base accepts MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rings (not included) and comes with both #6 and #8 screws to accommodate different receiver configurations.
