The Fusion Firearms Freedom Series 1911 A1 in 9mm is built on the original 1911 Series 70 Colt design in 5″ GOV GI Configuration. This all-steel pistol features mil spec style 70 series sights and premium red cocobolo exotic hardwood grips for a classic look and reliable handling.
Precision gunsmith fitting ensures the frame, slide, and barrel work together smoothly. All three components are precision CNC machined from bar-stock and finished with military-style slide treatment. The barrel is black oxide finished with a 1:16 Twist for excellent accuracy and easy cleaning, while positive barrel lock-up delivers superior accuracy out of the box.
The tuned Power style extractor and traditional 70 series design make this pistol compatible with standard Colt style replacement parts. An arched mainspring housing rounds out the design.
