XS Sights delivers a hand-polished brass bead with a convex face that reflects more light than flat-faced factory or competitor offerings, providing the cleanest view and the best reflection of ambient light. Brass is less expensive and more durable than gold, and this bead is hand polished using Flitz polishing products with a light protective layer that will minimize oxidization. Brass does not replace tritium on an EDC revolver; the retro classic brass front sights are optimized for range or field use.
The Standard Dot front sight measures 0.140″ and features durable CNC machined steel construction. The kit includes a front sight, blue threadlocker, hex wrench for front sight set screw, and an insert with instructions.
