The SCS operates with an internal, rechargeable 20,000-hour power reserve, allowing the optic to potentially run indefinitely under moderate exposure to bright light, eliminating the need for battery changes. An intensity override function locks the optic into high brightness mode for 30 minutes, and a low power indicator alerts you days before charging becomes necessary. The sight is rated IP68 waterproof.
