The Magpul RLS (Rifleman Loop Sling) builds on the heritage and proven performance of Magpul’s MS Sling series, delivering a durable, lightweight, and affordable shooting aid and retention device. Drawing on the best features of Rhodesian and 1907 match-style slings, the RLS is constructed with Magpul’s proprietary nylon mesh webbing and high-strength polymer hardware. As a retention device, the RLS functions as an unobtrusive weapon sling, securely keeping the rifle tucked behind the shoulder. When deployed for shooting, the adjustable forward loop grips the rifleman’s support arm, locking in a steady shooting position and firmly planting the rifle butt against the shoulder.
At its foundation, the RLS features Magpul’s proprietary chafe-resistant 1 1/4″ nylon mesh webbing. The tubular construction eliminates harsh edges that can rub or snag, providing double layers of cushioned comfort when shouldered. During use, the strap’s smooth texture remains comfortable, even under torque against the user’s arm. Like all Magpul slings, the colored webbing is NIR treated to reduce infrared signature. The Coyote Brown finish completes this versatile sling option.
