The GBRS Group Hydra V2 is a dual optic mount engineered to mount two optics simultaneously, featuring a 2.91″ Optic Centerline that improves target identification when equipment such as EarPro/Comms headsets, gas masks/CBRN gear, or night vision systems obstruct the view. The elevated mounting platform promotes a more athletic shooting posture and heads-up attitude, allowing shooters to maintain a vertical spine for better body armor plate presentation toward threats. This positioning enhances processing speed and situational awareness.
The patented design incorporates an elevated MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny platform for direct attachment of lights, optics, thermals, and aiming devices. The Hydra V2 excels on short PDW/SMG platforms where rail space is constrained but mounting both a light and aiming device remains essential. A pass-through opening on the neck accommodates cable management or iron sight passthrough on AIMPOINT and Trijicon variants.
