Sierra’s MatchKing bullets represent the company’s flagship target ammunition. The design of each MatchKing bullet is driven by a single principle: accuracy. These bullets feature extremely thin jackets manufactured to a concentricity standard of 0.0003 in maximum variation, while weight is controlled to within ±0.3 grain. Every MatchKing incorporates a hollow point design with a very small meplat to achieve high ballistic coefficient. The boat tail shape used on these bullets further reduces drag and enhances ballistic coefficient. Although some shooters have used these bullets for hunting purposes, Sierra recommends them exclusively for target shooting.
