This RCBS reloading die set is engineered for .243 Winchester Small Base applications, specifically designed for bottleneck cases used in tight-chambering semi-automatic, pump, or lever-action rifles.
The two-die set includes a Small Base Sizer Die with an Expander-Decapping Unit and a Regular Seater Die with Seater Plug. The sizer die resizes cases below SAAMI minimums, reducing the shoulder and body by a few thousandths, and also de-primes the case. The Seater Die features a built-in roll crimper that secures the bullet while seating it simultaneously. To seat bullets without crimping, simply unscrew the die until the crimp ring no longer engages the case mouth.
