MDT Chassis Systems were originally engineered for sports and tactical shooting applications. Over time, hunters increasingly adopted MDT’s lighter chassis designs for field use, which inspired the development of a dedicated hunting platform. The MDT HNT26 Chassis System represents MDT’s first purpose-built hunting rifle chassis.
This chassis delivers the core features hunters and shooters rely on—V-block bedding, length-of-pull adjustment, comb adjustment, and AICS magazine compatibility—while maintaining a featherweight starting weight of just 26oz. Construction combines a magnesium alloy rifle stock and base with carbon fiber forend, carbon fiber pistol grip, and foam-filled carbon fiber buttstock. This Remington 700 Long Action right-hand model features the ARCA forend, designed for hunters who demand a lightweight, adjustable platform without compromising functionality.
