These Hornady 060009 Universal Decapping Pins are small-sized replacements specially machined from hardened select steel for Durachrome Dies. When used properly, these decapping pins remove caps from casings during the reloading process, and they’re particularly useful for decapping military cases with swaged primer pockets.
To keep your dies working properly, you need plenty of spare parts on hand, and Hornady gives you plenty with this 6-pack. These pins are great for scenarios that are hard on conventional sizing/decapping dies. Important compatibility note: These decap pins do not work with Hornady New Dimension Dies.
