The Browning 1911-22 Black Label Compact features a matte black composite frame with 7075 aluminum subframe and slide rails, matte black anodized alloy slide, and matte black fixed composite sights. Built to approximately 85% of the scale of John M. Browning’s original 45 ACP Model 1911 pistol, this compact semi-automatic delivers authentic 1911 ergonomics in a reduced footprint ideal for training, range work, and everyday carry. The 1911-22 is a single-action design with straight blowback operation and feeds from a 10-round magazine made from solid steel with a coil spring for reliable operation.
The pistol includes a 3-5/8″ corrosion-resistant steel barrel, brown composite grips, Picatinny rail, checkered front strap, flat mainspring housing, commander style hammer, beavertail grip safety, and extended slide release. Fixed sights, a beavertail grip safety, an extended slide release, and an accessory rail for lights or lasers make this a modern-ready platform. The package includes a pistol rug for convenient storage and transport.
The Browning 1911-22 is a thoughtfully executed rimfire interpretation of John Browning’s legendary 1911 platform—a .22 LR pistol built to preserve the look, feel, and manual-of-arms of a full-size 1911 while offering the economy and low recoil of rimfire ammunition. With a 3 5/8″ barrel, 6 7/8″ overall length, and 13 oz weight, it pairs classic 1911 controls with practical compact handling for shooters at every level.
