Hornady Precision Hunter ammunition combines accuracy and terminal performance in factory-loaded rounds specifically developed for hunting applications. The ammunition features clean-burning propellants loaded to uniform capacity, ensuring consistent shot-to-shot results regardless of temperature and delivering the highest levels of accuracy and performance uniformity.
The centerpiece of this load is the ELD-X bullet with Heat Shield tip, engineered to maintain the highest-in-class BC over its entire trajectory as verified by Doppler radar. At low velocity impacts beyond 400 yards, the Heat Shield tip drives backward into the bullet to initiate expansion, producing controlled expansion with a large mushroom and 85–90% retained weight for deep penetration and large wound cavities.
Each box contains 20 rounds of 80-grain ELD-X ammunition. This 22 ARC factory load is engineered for medium game hunting where precise shot placement is critical and hunters demand field-proven performance.
