Berger’s 30 Caliber 220 Grain Long Range Hybrid Target™ (LRHT™) bullet utilizes Meplat Reduction Technology™ (MRT™) to achieve a G7 BC of 0.369 with variation of less than 1%. The MRT™ process increases ballistic coefficient by reducing meplat diameter while creating more consistent BC, resulting in less vertical dispersion at longer ranges, increased hit probability and better predictability for serious long range shooters, competitors and Mil/LE operators. Each box contains 100 projectiles with a bullet diameter of 0.308″, weighing 220 grains, and a recommended twist rate of 1 in 10″ or faster.
Berger’s J4 Precision Bullet Jackets are the #1 choice of custom bullet manufacturers, with the most consistent and concentric copper jackets in the world holding an unprecedented +/- .0003″ tolerance. The exacting core manufacturing process means you don’t have to sort by weight, giving you more reliable drop, consistent BC, and better accuracy.
The 220 Grain LRHT™ is designed around magnum cartridges like the 300 PRC, 300 Norma Magnum, and 300 Remington Ultra Magnum for shooting 1000 yards and beyond. The hybrid ogive blends the best aspects of tangent and secant nose shapes; near the bearing surface it starts off as a tangent for easy tuning, then transitions to a secant ogive for flatter trajectory and less wind drift. These premium reloading projectiles are ideal for precision rifle competitors, long range hunters, and tactical marksmen seeking industry-leading ballistic consistency and performance.
