Manufactured from 416R stainless steel with 5R rifling and a 1-8 twist, the barrel undergoes salt bath nitride treatment inside and out for corrosion resistance and easier cleaning. Every Faxon Match barrel is stress relieved, air-gauge tested, magnetic particle inspected (MPI), and headspace verified. The M4 extension features a Nickel Teflon coating that enhances lubricity and tightens extension-to-receiver fit for improved consistency.
Specifications include 1/2″ x 28 TPI muzzle threading, mid-length gas system, Nickel Teflon coated M4 extension, and an 11-degree target crown.
