EGW manufactures a 1-piece Picatinny-style base engineered for Savage Model 110 through 116 round rear long action receivers. This precision mounting platform is machined from domestic 6061 T6 extruded aluminum and finished with matte black anodizing, delivering the rigidity and durability required for hunting, tactical shooting, and long-range applications. Designed for modern “round back” Savage long actions, it bridges the receiver to provide a rigid, one-piece mounting platform.
Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, offering flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. The center channel reduces overall mass while in many cases will not obstruct usage of factory iron sights. The mount features a bevel on both sides, making it ambidextrous. Specifications include a center spread of 4.630″, overall length of 7.458″, height of .4″ from receiver to top of Picatinny, and weight of 2 oz.
Mounting hardware is included, with both #6-48 and #8-40 screws to fit all standard and heavy-duty Savage receivers. Mounts are tumbled, sand blasted, and Type II anodized for long lasting durability. Installation requires 20 inch-lbs of torque and a drip of blue loctite.
