LaserMax’s patent-pending GripSense Technology uses detection similar to smartphone technology, with a sensor zone where your middle finger indexes the trigger guard. This senses your grip on the firearm and activates the light or laser instantly. You can disable the light or laser with a button press, or turn off GripSense entirely and use button activation only.
The CenterFire with GripSense technology projects a bright 100-lumen white LED light and a red laser aiming point downrange. It mounts to Smith & Wesson M&P Shield and Shield M2.0 frames without permanent alteration, making it ideal for training, concealed carry, home defense, and backup use.
The unit features rounded and blended edges to ensure a smooth draw, and offers ambidextrous switching for both right and left-handed shooters. A 10-minute automatic time-out prevents inadvertent battery drain. Does not fit Shield EZ models. Most operators report immediate improvement to hit ratios after installing a CenterFire GripSense light and laser sight.
