Built by Taurus, the Raging Hunter is a large-frame, five-shot revolver chambered in .500 S&W Magnum for serious big-bore field work. The 6.75″ barrel wears a black blued finish and incorporates a ported/target crown design with custom porting to manage felt recoil and muzzle flip. An unfluted cylinder adds heft to further control recoil, while a top picatinny rail enables mounting of optics and other accessories.
The gun handles sighting with an adjustable rear sight and fixed front sight, and employs a transfer-bar safety mechanism.
