Standard Manufacturing’s SAA is chambered in .45 Colt with a 6-round cylinder capacity and a 5-1/2″ barrel. The entire firearm is constructed from solid 4140 steel with no cast or metal injection molded components. In-house precision machining ensures strict quality control throughout manufacturing. Standard Manufacturing’s master gunsmiths bring decades of heritage to this work, having built iconic firearms including the Ansley H. Fox, Parker, and Model 21 double shotguns.
The revolver demonstrates meticulous craftsmanship in every aspect: precision fit between components, hand polishing and stoning, deep blued finishes, and traditional bone and charcoal color case hardening applied to all metal surfaces. The spurred hammer is bone and charcoal color case hardened, and the revolver features fixed sights. The single-action mechanism delivers smooth, reliable trigger and hammer function characteristic of this classic design, making it equally suitable for collectors, enthusiasts, and those seeking an heirloom-quality American-made firearm.
