Wheeler’s Cerama-Coat Custom Gun Armor delivers exceptionally durable protection through a specially formulated finish engineered with ultra-fine ceramic molecules. These ceramic molecules crosslink and bond directly to the base material, and a heating process after application hardens and sets the finish permanently.
The coating bonds effectively to ferrous metals, alloys, stainless steel, and synthetics capable of withstanding temperatures up to 200 degrees F. Application is flexible—Cerama-Coat can be applied over bare metal or layered over existing blued, anodized, or parkerized finishes. The resulting non-reflective matte finish resists scratching and chipping while standing up to gun solvents.
