The Barrett MRAD represents a synthesis of precision engineering and modular design, performing with equal competence in competitive and operational environments. The monolithic upper receiver is machined from 7000-series aluminum and incorporates a full-length M1913 Picatinny top rail with built-in taper optimized for long-range accuracy. Mounting slots positioned at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock on the hand guard provide a rigid, highly adaptable platform for rails, electro-optics, and accessories.
The user-changeable barrel system allows conversion between 7 different calibers or multiple barrel lengths by loosening two bolts with a standard Torx wrench—no gunsmith required. The lower receiver houses a fully adjustable match-grade trigger module, enabling the shooter to set their ideal pull weight. The stock folds on the right side to minimize width and transport footprint, and locks securely when extended for stability equivalent to a fixed-stock design.
Length of pull and cheek piece height adjust without tools, accommodating shooters of varying proportions. Ambidextrous paddle-style magazine release, left/right swappable thumb safety, and AR15/M16 pistol grips serve both right- and left-handed operators. This .300 PRC bolt-action rifle features a 26″ fluted barrel with 1:8″ twist, a 10-round magazine capacity (2 included), and an overall length of 49.4″, weighing 14.5 lbs. The 21.75″ M1913 rail provides 10 MIL of built-in taper. The FDE finish completes a rifle engineered for serious precision work across multiple applications.
