The Swamp Fox Independence Mount is a cantilever 30mm ring mount designed for rifle scopes on AR-15 and other Modern Sporting Rifle platforms. It works best with flat-top rifles featuring a 1913 MIL-STD Picatinny or Weaver rail, positioning the scope centerline 1.5″ above the receiver. The cantilever offset between the rail mount and rings allows forward scope placement, optimizing head position and eye relief on AR-style platforms.
Machined from one-piece CNC 6061 aircraft grade aluminum, the mount combines durability with minimal weight penalty. Hooded rings provide enhanced stability, while the rigid construction eliminates movement and wobble between the mount and rail, and between the mount and rings.
