The Smith & Wesson M&P Shield X chambered in 9mm is a high-capacity subcompact pistol that blends concealability with modern defensive features. Outfitted with a 3.6-inch barrel, 13 and 15-round magazines, and manual thumb safety, the Shield X offers enhanced versatility for EDC or range use. With a slim 0.9″ width and light 20.8 oz unloaded weight, the Shield X balances concealability with handling comfort.
Built for everyday carry and personal defense, the M&P Shield X features aggressive front and rear slide serrations for improved slide manipulation in all conditions, while a longer grip provides increased magazine capacity and better control while maintaining a compact profile that’s easy to conceal. The optics-ready RMSc/K slide cut includes S&W’s ClearSight™ gas diversion design, helping keep mounted red-dot optics free of debris during firing. The front sight is an Ameriglo® Trooper LumiGreen night sight, enabling quick target acquisition in low-light conditions.
The stainless-steel Armornite-finished barrel and slide feature an undercut trigger guard and extended beavertail for enhanced control. An embedded accessory rail under the dust-cover allows mounting lights or lasers, making the Shield X adaptable for varied carry situations. Included are two magazines—one 13-round and one extended 15-round—so you can choose the configuration that fits your needs.
