Built in the USA, the Archangel AA1500 is an aluminum pillar bedded, fully adjustable precision stock engineered for Howa or Smith & Wesson 1500 and Weatherby Vanguard short action rifles in cartridges based on the .308 cartridge. The stock converts ADL, BDL, and DM models to a double column TYPE A detachable magazine system with rear paddle release. An ergonomic gooseneck style grip with palm swells and flared base provides control, while a locking storage compartment is integrated into the design. The cheek riser is click adjustable with 1.5 travel in .05 increments, and the length of pull ranges from 13.5 to 14.625, allowing custom fit for individual shooters. The varmint-barrel sized barrel channel free-floats most barrel contours for consistent accuracy.
A steel and aluminum reinforced bi-pod is internally integrated and flush-fitting, remaining unobtrusive when stowed but available instantly when needed. The bi-pod deploys via switch operation with one-hand activation and features textured feet designed for improved stability in soil. One TYPE A Archangel .308 10-round capacity blue steel magazine is included with this stock set.
