Italian Firearms Group offers the FK BRNO F5 in 7.5 FK, a factory-loaded cartridge featuring a 95-grain, all-copper, nose-discarding hollow point. Each box contains 50 rounds of brass-cased ammunition. The round is specified at 1800 fps with a muzzle energy of 844 ft-lbs.
The 7.5 FK is a proprietary caliber designed and produced by FK BRNO Engineering s.r.o. The hollow point is engineered to break off on impact, leaving a jagged 7mm meplat that creates a large, deep penetrating wound channel and high terminal effect. The projectile maintains high sectional density, which preserves velocity and trajectory at longer ranges while delivering significantly deeper penetration—approximately 40% more velocity than comparable alternatives.
Developed between 2009 and 2014, the 7.5 BRNO was created to enable high capacity automatic pistols to engage combatant targets at ranges between 75–150 metres while retaining more kinetic energy at that distance than a 9×19mm Parabellum cartridge generates at point blank range. It is accurate and effective for defence and medium game hunting up to 200 lbs to 100 yards.
