XS Sights R3D 2.0 night sights are available for the Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 2.0, delivering fast target acquisition in any lighting condition with a high contrast front dot and tritium, plus dual tritium dots in the rear sight. Constructed with steel components and tritium front and rear elements, the R3D 2.0 offers a bright notch-and-post sighting option with an orange front outline for fast acquisition. The 0.145″ wide front sight features an Ember Glow Dot surrounding the tritium lamp, available in orange, with the photo-luminescent Glow Dot absorbing ambient light and glowing in low light while the tritium lamp is self-luminous and will glow in low light/no light situations for 12 years.
The 0.170″ wide notch rear sight allows for more visibility on either side of the front sight post for faster sight alignment, especially in poor lighting conditions. Like the original R3D sights, the 2.0 family is designed with a ledge to aid in one-handed manipulations. BlackNitride surface finish and revised dovetail dimensions round out the upgrades, with the BlackNitride finish highly resistant to corrosion and wear.
Installation is engineered to require approximately 50% less force than earlier designs, making fitting and replacement easier for routine carry guns. These sights are intended for everyday carry (EDC) use where reliable, consistent sighting in varied light conditions is a priority. Tritium illumination is warranted to glow for twelve (12) years.
