The Magpul Hunter X-22 Takedown chassis is an ergonomic, drop-in, full-featured stock specifically designed for the Ruger 10/22 Takedown series of rifles. Made of reinforced polymer, this precision-engineered stock transforms your tactical rifle platform with professional-grade features at a practical price point. It features an ergonomic grip, adjustable length of pull and comb height to fit a wide variety of shooters, multiple sling mounting options, a non-slip rubber butt-pad, and M-LOK® slots for accessory attachment.
The reversible barrel tray ensures proper fit with factory pencil profile as well as heavy bull barrels (up to 0.920″ diameter). The LOP adjustment range is approximately 12.5-14.5 inches, accommodating shooters of various sizes and preferences. The stock integrates a 60 degree grip angle from bore axis, adjustable barrel tensioning shim in forend for setting barrel preload (barrel may also be free-floated), and left and right rear 1-1/4″ Footman’s Loops for sling deployment options.
Drop-in compatible with all factory Ruger 10/22 Takedown .22 LR receivers—no gunsmithing required. The OD Green finish provides a classic hunting aesthetic while the modular design accepts aftermarket accessories through M-LOK mounting points on the forend. Made in the USA.
