The Forster Products 6.5x55mm Swede Bushing Bump Neck Reloading Die Kit (Model BBK2420) delivers precision neck sizing with a hand-polished sizing die and three standard bushing sizes specially selected by Forster staff. The kit includes bushings in .293, .291, and .289 diameters, with all bushings machined to a “smooth as silk” interior finish.
The Bushing Bump Neck Sizing Die offers advanced precision by allowing you to precisely control the amount of neck sizing tension in your reloaded cartridge brass, improving accuracy and prolonging case life because the neck is sized down as little as necessary while still “bumping” the shoulder of the case to maintain overall case concentricity. Interchangeable bushings are available in 0.001 in. increments to enable custom neck sizing and fine adjustments for case neck wall thickness.
This one-step bushing reduction/bump operation sets the shoulder back to keep case necks in alignment, prevents overworking of case necks, and controls the amount of neck tension for bullet seating. The sizing die features a decapping pin that automatically deprimes, removing the spent primer from the primer pocket. Forster Bushing Bump Neck dies will only accept bushings made by Forster.
