The Barrett MRAD represents a precision rifle engineered for both range work and professional duty use. Its monolithic upper receiver is machined from 7000-series aluminum and features a full-length M1913 Picatinny top rail with built-in taper designed for long-range shooting. Hand guard mounting slots positioned at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock provide a rigid platform for attachment of rails, electro-optics, and accessories.
The user-changeable barrel system allows conversion between 7 different calibers or multiple barrel lengths by loosening just two bolts with a standard Torx wrench—no gunsmith needed. A fully adjustable match-grade trigger module housed in the lower receiver lets shooters dial in their preferred pull weight. The stock folds on the right side to minimize overall width and aid in transport, then locks securely into place when extended for the stability of a fixed-stock rifle. Length of pull and cheek piece height adjust without tools to accommodate shooters of different builds.
Ambidextrous controls include a paddle-style magazine release, left/right swappable thumb safety, and AR15/M16 compatible pistol grips, making the MRAD equally capable for right and left-handed shooters. This 6.5 Creedmoor bolt-action rifle features a 24-inch barrel with 1:8″ twist rate, 10-round magazine capacity, and weighs 13.3 lbs. The Picatinny rail measures 21.75″ with 10 MIL of taper. Overall length is 47.4″. From competition to combat, the Barrett MRAD delivers.
