XS Sights R3D 2.0 suppressor-height night sights feature a serrated blacked-out rear and a dual-illuminated tritium photoluminescent front. These second-generation sights are engineered to provide a brighter, stronger sight picture for everyday carry and duty use, with design that reduces installation force by roughly half compared with prior versions.
The 0.145″ wide front sight features an Ember Glow Dot available in green, with a photoluminescent Glow Dot that absorbs ambient light and glows in low light while the tritium lamp is self-luminous and glows in low light/no light situations for 12 years. The 0.170″ wide notch rear sight allows for more visibility on either side of the front sight post for faster sight alignment, especially in poor lighting conditions. R3D 2.0 uses brighter tritium lamps in the rear sight compared to the original version, with a black PVC ring surrounding the rear sight lamps to create a more defined edge and improve the sight picture.
R3D sights are CNC machined from solid steel bar stock by XS Sights’ in-house machine shop. BlackNitride surface finish and revised dovetail dimensions complete the upgrades to the product line. The combination of a high-visibility tritium front, a subdued rear, and a suppressor-height profile creates a balanced sighting system suitable for threaded-barrel setups and service-style pistols while maintaining a rugged build for everyday carry conditions.
