Rail Features:
The serrated rail sides interface with Area 419’s proprietary clamp design to mechanically lock the rail in place with no movement possible. The serrations are not sharp and will not damage bags or your hands.
This rail is backwards compatible with standard Arca accessories but will not lock without Area 419’s clamp. At 10″ long, it provides substantial real estate for attachments without overextending on shorter forends, and weighs only 3.5oz.
Manufactured to the RRS 1.5″ Dovetail Standard to ensure compatibility with lever clamps. Every corner is radiused and every edge is chamfered during machining—a more time-intensive process but the correct approach.
While designed with Manners Composite Stocks in mind, this rail accommodates multiple rifle and stock configurations that feature an accessible front action screw and front attachment point(s). It attaches to the rifle at up to 4 places for maximum strength and stability.
Constructed from 6061-T6 Aluminum with Type 3 Hard Coat anodizing for additional durability. Made in-house in the USA from USA-sourced Aluminum on USA-made CNCs.
The rail comes with 1 long Remington 700-style action screw to fit to the front action screw attachment point; some trimming will likely be required. A 3/4″ paddle bit and drill press may be required for tee-nut installation depending on your rifle configuration. Tee nuts and hardware are included.
