The latest update from HK-USA to the commercial variant of the legendary HK417, the Heckler & Koch MR762 A4 represents an enhanced example of “no compromise” HK performance, now available in a 13 inch pistol configuration. This 13-inch threaded-barrel pistol configuration pairs a match cold-hammer-forged medium-contour barrel with a short-stroke gas piston operating system and ambidextrous controls for modern range and precision use.
At its core, the MR762 A4 features HK’s proprietary short-stroke gas piston system, offering cleaner operation and greater reliability under harsh conditions, with a cold hammer-forged 13-inch barrel featuring a 1-in-11-inch twist and threaded 5/8×24 for suppressors or muzzle devices. Its short-stroke gas piston operating system does not impart hot carbon fouling back into the action, allowing the weapon to run longer with less maintenance, and its adjustable gas regulator allows the operator to tune the action specifically for suppressed or unsuppressed operation, while fully ambidextrous controls, lighter weight and a slimmer profile make the new A4 easier to operate, manipulate and employ.
The pistol ships with an M-LOK handguard, a 20-round polymer magazine, and an enhanced ergonomic HK grip. The fully ambidextrous lower and extended ambidextrous charging handle allow seamless operation for both right- and left-handed shooters, the HK416 slimline stock and M-LOK handguard provide enhanced ergonomics and mounting versatility, and the flat top upper is optics-ready for your preferred red dot or scope solution. Built with features intended for use suppressed or unsuppressed, the MR762 A4 is configured for shooters who need a robust, versatile 7.62x51mm pistol platform.
