The mechanical switch design enables weapon light models to operate in both momentary and constant-on modes using a familiar click tailcap design. Laser versions employ a momentary-only switch to work with the native double-click-for-constant-on feature standard on most common lasers. Dual-lead variants are SYNC, firing both light and laser simultaneously.
