The bushing installs in Hornady match-grade full length and neck sizing dies, where it self-centers within the die body. The bushing’s inside diameter determines the neck size when brass is inserted into the die. These bushings work in both neck and full length Match Grade dies and are available in .002″ increments. Standard dies size to SAAMI minimum specification, though many shooters find this unnecessary—particular rifles, brass types, and chambers may not require minimum dimensions, and reduced sizing means less working of the brass.
