L.E. Wilson has been manufacturing precision reloading tools for more than 80 years. The CB-30 30 Caliber Seater Die Blank is a chamber-type bullet seating tool designed for custom die creation and wildcat cartridge applications. The blank includes Cap Stem and Base components, features a finished bore hole, and is made oversized to allow you to cut it to the proper length. As a die blank, the cartridge chamber will require cutting by a qualified gunsmith.
Chamber type seater dies are recognized for their precision, holding both bullet and case in perfect alignment during the seating process. A close-fitting bullet seating stem pushes the bullet into the case mouth. This design delivers greater accuracy compared to conventional 7/8″-14 TPI bullet seating dies.
These seater dies are hand-die design tools intended for use with a mallet or arbor press and are incompatible with conventional presses. Seater die blanks enable reloaders to work with their gunsmith to create custom dies to exact specifications for maximum precision handloading.
