The EGW Picatinny rail scope base upgrades your Remington 541 rifle with a dependable optics mounting solution. Machined as a single solid piece from 6061-T6 aluminum, it resists recoil better than separate bases and eliminates potential misalignment issues. The design incorporates multiple mounting slots for precise eye relief adjustments and accepts both Picatinny and Weaver-style scope rings.
Ambidextrous beveling accommodates both left- and right-handed shooters, while a central channel reduces weight without compromising strength. This one-piece rail is CNC-machined from domestic 6061 T6 extruded aluminum and finished with a matte black anodized coating. It measures 6.276″ in overall length and .4″ in height (measured from top of receiver to top of Picatinny), with a weight of 2 oz.
Made in the U.S.A. with sandblasting and Type II anodizing for durability, the 0 MOA configuration performs well for shooting distances up to 500 yards and is suited to short- to mid-range rimfire applications. Installation requires tightening to 20 in/lbs and applying a drop of blue Loctite (sold separately) to secure the screws against loosening from recoil.
