The GBRS Group Hydra V2 Mount Kit is the first dual optic mount designed for end-users that offers a 2.91″ Optic Centerline for faster target ID, regardless of gear/equipment obstructions, including EarPro/Comms headsets, Gas masks/CBRN, and Night vision use. A higher optic allows for a more athletic posture and “Heads-up” attitude that enables end-users to maintain a vertical spine which translates to body armor presentation, allowing for faster processing speed and increased situational awareness.
Constructed from high-strength, lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum with a durable Type III hardcoat anodize, the Hydra Mount effectively solves rail clutter, allows optimal accessory placement, and promotes a “heads-up” shooting posture for enhanced situational awareness and target acquisition. Screws and clamp are custom heat treated, black nitrided stainless steel. The unique and patented design offers an elevated MIL-STD-1913, or Picatinny platform for directly attaching accessories such as lights, optics, thermals, and aiming devices.
Compatible with CompM5s and Duty RDS optics. The pass-through on the neck allows for cable management or iron sight passthrough on the AIMPOINT variant. Weight for the AIMPOINT MICRO T-2 variant is 6.5 oz., with a recommended torque of 45 In./Lbs.
