The GBRS Group Hydra V2 is the first dual optic mount designed for end-users, featuring a 2.91″ optic centerline that enables faster target ID without interference from gear or equipment obstructions. Manufactured in the USA and fully Berry Compliant, the Hydra V2 is constructed from 6061 T6 aluminum with a MIL A 8625 Type 3 Class 2 hard coat anodized finish that resists wear and corrosion. The mount is reinforced with 17 4 PH stainless steel clamp bars and screws finished in Melonite QPQ for durability under demanding conditions.
The 2.91 inch optic centerline raises your sight height to promote a natural heads up posture, reducing neck strain and improving situational awareness in dynamic environments. The patented design incorporates an elevated MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny platform for direct mounting of accessories including lights, optics, thermals, and aiming devices. The Hydra V2 is compatible with all EOTECH Holographic Weapon Sights (HWS) or similar footprints, including the EOTECH XPS series.
The shorter back base allows Flip-to-Center (FTC) magnifiers to be positioned closer to the red dot for improved alignment and ergonomics. Pass-through holes for an Allen wrench simplify optic mounting, while the strengthened neck provides robust support and efficient cable management. Holes for direct mounting laser screws enhance customization options for tactical setups. At 6.4 ounces with an EXPS installed, the Hydra V2 balances lightweight handling with uncompromising strength, making it ideal for use on compact PDW and SMG platforms.
