The Stealth Recoil Spring (SRS) is silent, eliminating the annoying “twang” of the stock AR15 buffer spring when the action cycles. It reduces recoil with the multi-spring system, resulting in a smooth, elastic feeling rather than a mechanical recoil impulse.
Features include a drop-in replacement for standard buffer and spring, reduced felt recoil, keeping the buffer spring from rubbing against the inner wall of the buffer tube, and buffer mass designed to stay under constant tension against the bolt carrier. The C-weight version offers an equivalent weight of 3.3 oz with an actual weight of 6.2 oz and a length of 7.18″. It is compatible with AR-15 with carbine-length buffer tube.
